had a wonderful dining experience at the Marriott restaurant! From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Lanie and Mariel at the reception — their professionalism and friendly demeanor truly set the tone for a great evening. The buffet selection was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious dishes that catered to every taste — and all at a very reasonable price, special thanks to Chef Ahmed and Yasser, whose culinary skills and attention to detail made the meal absolutely memorable. Thank you to the entire team for the impeccable service and hospitality. Looking forward to my next visit
One of the best parts of our stay was the hotel restaurant. Chef Ahmed was incredibly accommodating, and clearly very experienced. He always made sure the food was just right and even customized a few dishes to my taste. Mariel and Vanessa were both amazing. They took great care of me every day with genuine warmth and attention. Their kindness and consistency made a big difference throughout my stay. Big thanks to Aya as well for running such a great team. The service here really stands out.
During my stay at the Marriott Airport Hotel in Riyadh, I dined regularly at The Marketplace restaurant. The standout aspect of the experience has definitely been the hospitality. The staff — especially Marie’s, Vanessa, Lanie, Aya, Chef Ahmed, and Antony — are courteous, attentive, and consistently make an effort to ensure guests feel welcome. Their service added a personal touch that made me feel at home. The food quality is good, though the overall buffet spread is relatively limited. In particular, I found that there were fewer Indian and Italian options compared to what one might expect at an international hotel. That said, the team is open to feedback and always happy to help with alternatives when possible. In all, The Marketplace is a pleasant place to dine thanks to its warm service and professional team. With a bit more variety in the cuisine, especially Indian and Italian dishes, it could be even better.
