Rizal Park Hotel

Love this place. Stayed for three nights. Its not perfect but the old historical charm is more then enough. The breakfast was good. The staff amazing. Maybe the most sleepable room I have ever stayed in. The room was very relaxing. Every morning we could watch children play in the ocean across the street. Wonderful atmosphere. Worth it!

Rooms were great. Location is also great. As an events venue, it was also great. Lots of activities in the area as well - especially for tourists. The rooms are also well-priced for the above mentioned items. The points for improvement are: 1. Service is a 3 out of 5 because: + It took ages to get someone to pick up the phone for guest service and room service + It took a long time for our bill to arrive the 2 times that we dined at the restaurant. The personnel are great. Professional, friendly, and very helpful. They're the reason for the 3 out of 5, the remaining 2 stars that would have made it a 5 is due to the service level. They seemed understaffed. 2. Restaurant was not as expected + The price point and the quality of the food do not match. It was expensive, but not impressive -- especially for a hotel that boasts of its Michelin star chef/s. + Buffet breakfast left much to be desired.

Very disappointing experience. Our stay at Rizal Park Hotel was far from pleasant. Check-in took an unreasonable 40 minutes, which set the tone for the rest of our visit. The main elevators were not working, and we were directed to use a service elevator that was dirty and felt unsafe. Later that evening, after returning from a wedding, even the escalators weren’t working. To make things worse, when we finally got to our room, the air-conditioning wasn’t working either. For a hotel of this caliber and price point, we expected much better. Unfortunately, this experience left us very dissatisfied.
