Rizzo Center a Destination by Hyatt Hotel

Rizzo is a hidden gem! I've been coming to Chapel Hill for years but this is my first time staying here. The grounds are beautiful. The front desk staff was efficient, kind and helpful. The room was very nicely laid out. I enjoyed using the fitness center and appreciated that the front desk has different running route maps available. The food is excellent and the guest pantries with free snacks were a welcome treat. I would definitely stay here again.

Phenomenal first visit to the Rizzo Center Hyatt. Wally the Bartender and the Asian kale salad at the Shaffer-Keenan Lounge were highlights. The pool was clean and warm, beautifully lit area in the evening. The gentleman at the front desk (red hair) was polite and informative. 8 minutes from campus with no traffic. We will be back!

Rooms are a little bit dated but overall a nice atmosphere in the hotel. The pool area is nice, very comfortable seating. Other photos of the place show Ben & jerry's to be available in the pantry, this might have been a while ago, now there is still ice cream but cheaper stuff. The pantry is still nice though since you get the ice cream and sodas for free.
