Absolutely loved our stay here! Staying on a working banana plantation was amazing, so beautiful and interesting. We had access to the plantation whenever we wanted and wandered around enjioying the peace and tranquillity. There are also orange, avocado, papaya, grapefruit, and lemon trees. We are given lots of these to enjoy, and we did! The finca is in its own private grounds, and we loved the privacy and space provided. The swimming pool was so good to have and was heated very well. The kitchen is excellent and the outdoor kitchen meant we had some amazing fun cook ups! We slept well and loved the views from the bedroom, kitchen and roof terrace. We played lots of table tennis too! The owners/ hosts are lovely and so helpful. Our plane had a long delay and they came to the airport for to follow them to ghe finca as it was late and we were tired and in a new environment, really appreciated. The North of the island is a great place to holiday and to explore and has beautiful scenery, museums, archogical parks and Agaete has great fish restaurants. All along the coast are safe sea swimming pools adapted by using the natural inlets and blocking the exit. They are beautiful to swim in. They're well marked in Google maps. We also did a few hikes which were well marked. Las Palma is 10 minutes away and we enjoyed the golden beach and promenade there.

We called to see if a tour through the banana plantation was possible and we could visit right the next day! Pilar is a very nice woman who knows a lot about the fruits, plantation, history and island Gran Canaria. They grow mostly bananas, but also have mandarins, oranges, lemons, avocado's and papaya's. We had a very interesting and extended tour of 1,5 hour and even got some fruit to take home with us. Pilar thank you so much for having us and guiding us around! We had a great time and loved the plantation and your enthusiasm!
