Rlj Kendeja Resort and Villas

I will NEVER forget my time here at RLJ Kendeja Resort & Villas! Mr.Hnel Appleton the General Manager with the help of Lassana & Sylvia made this a day I will always remember. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up so I could have a beautiful proposal. The service was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and waking up to the sound of the ocean was so peaceful. My next time back in LIB I will be back.

After staying my first time at Mamba Point this hotel is more out of the way. It's more secluded, quiet and absolutely beautiful! The service is impeccable. They had fresh coconut water for us when we checked in and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The beds... good night! So comfortable. The ambiance and views can't be beat. The food is absolutely delicious. Love it here!

I have WAITED many years to lodge at Robert Bob Johnson's beloved Kendeja resort, only to learn that he SOLD the resort in 2017. While, my stay was enjoyable the place needs work. Lack of maintenance is beginning to show. Rotten boards, peeking paint, rusted gutters and zinc roofing. Of the 78 rooms only about 50-60 maybe operable. I toured the property and many of the rooms were abandoned without a door lock and was being used as storage. The beach bar is reduced to cement and wood, although Roy was still attending to it. Cracks in the room ceiling, a few non working appliances in the room. Cleanness was good, staff and security was nice. The food selection and quality was good, however extremely SLOW food/beverage service. OVERALL, it was nice and the beach location and view are AMAZING and I will be back but I was so disappointed in how the place is not in top top shape. The resort is only 16 years old. I wish Bob had not. NOT that it would change anything but for what it's worth, I am tempted to email him about how the property has fallen into disaray. I'm sure he would be disappointed.
