You are wondering why the one star review, while I have posted 4 stars for the rooms and 5 stars for service and location. Well, let me say we had amazing vacations with the family for 5 years in a row! Amazing location and great service and food! Rooms are ok, though the buildings cannot hide their age. But none of this would matter if it weren't about the prices. We used to have an amazing time with a cost of approximately 300 Euros per day, up until the pandemic. Since 2002, you cannot find a family friendly room with less than 1000 Euros+ per day, and this is the absolute minimum. Cost has almost quadrupled in a few years time, while everything else has remained the same. This is due to the almost exclusive interest of the hotel for German tourists only, and all other nationalities, including Greeks, are of no importance. Most of the times the staff, even though very kind, do not even speak Greek or English. And do not forget that this is a Hotel located in Greece!
