Very nice place to stay. Modern rooms and facilities and a lot of ways to enjoy your vacation. What really stands out are all the kind and helpful employees that make the vacation even more enjoyable. Big thanks to Gitti and here whole team, you were outstanding

Staff was wonderful and resort runs like a well- oiled ship. Room smelt a bit damp though, and in my experience you cannot call a place "all -inclusive" when in fact there are many limitations on the drinks and food that is included in the price. Also lacking diversity in terms of dining options - only buffet included in a la carte and buffet at the same 2 restaurants, 3 x a week for 1-2 weeks is too much. There are better value and more high end all inclusive places around. Although this is a great club for Germans to visit, this is not a place to experience local culture. The club seems to attract nearly entirely German population, and the music is German, staff etc all speak German, so if you are looking for an international crowd, this isn't for you. Sea is wonderful but the place stone beach "sand" gets extremely hot and uncomfortable and no service offered on the beach

We arrived at Robinson Ierapetra around 10:00 PM due to the flight combination arranged by TUI. Our departure flight was also late, and the TUI transfer was scheduled for 15:55. The day before departure, we went to the reception twice to request a paid late check-out until 15:00. The receptionist in the morning said it might be possible and promised to call in the afternoon – but we never received any update. After dinner, when we asked again, Max at the reception responded in a very cold and unfriendly manner, saying it was absolutely impossible, that we had to check out by 11:00, and that the hotel was fully booked. He also mentioned “datenschutz” (data protection) as a reason for not revealing arrival times of new guests. As someone who has worked in the tourism industry for 20 years, I of course understand this – but the way it was communicated was completely unacceptable. The internal transfer system within the resort is also a mess. We often waited endlessly for a shuttle, and sometimes none came at all. Under the blazing sun, we had to walk from our room to the restaurant or beach. On one occasion, a driver even passed us by despite us clearly running toward the vehicle; he only stopped when we shouted loudly. The so-called “all inclusive” is misleading: special dinners require an additional €45 per person, without wine included. The food was very average, and some dishes even reappeared at the main buffet the next day. Lunch offerings hardly changed from day to day. Aperol is included, but Hugo costs extra, and even ice cream isn’t free. Housekeeping was also poor: when we requested extra slippers, we were only given one additional pair, despite having four people in the room (and originally only two pairs provided). It’s hard to understand how a 7-night stay costing over €8,000 comes with such service and attitude. Very disappointing overall.
