Staff are friendly and helpful. The room I had was great. The bed was comfy, room spacious. The bistro (Jacks Bar and Grill) is chock full of delicious meals. I had the baked mussels tonight 😋 Make sure to stop in for a meal.
One of the nicest pet friendly motels I’ve stayed at – way better than a lot of 4-star hotels! The room was super comfy with great air con, and everything was so clean. The pool looked really refreshing too. The owners (I’m guessing they are?) were so friendly and accommodating. I couldn’t fit my dog’s fresh food in the room freezer, so they happily stored it in their kitchen for me without any hassle. It’s in a great spot, walking distance to a big IGA, and they’ve got a restaurant attached. My only suggestion would be to make the outdoor bistro area more inviting or expand to the grass by the pool. A nice pet-friendly spot to chill with a drink after a long drive would be perfect! As a solo female making her way north, I felt really safe staying here. The other guests seemed like respectful holidaymakers stopping for the night. Highly recommend!
Very accommodating and friendly hosts. Room clean and spacious. Added little patio a bonus addition to the room. Pool onsite. Restaurant and bar facility onsite. Menu limited but very tasty and well presented. Would highly recommend this venue for your next stay.
