Our time at Robolla Hotel was amazing. We had a car which I recommend if you want to see stuff. The most beautiful places are around this area (Porto Timoni, Paleokastritsa, Canal d'Amour, Cap Drastis, Akoli beach,...). Only if you want long sandy beaches you are better in the south I think, but the prettiest beaches are the stony ones anyway. Often its 30-45 minutes driving, but the distances are small and it does not feel like long drives. The road is nice and people drive slow (there are a few tricky small roads, but not many). As far as the hotel goes: both breakfast and dinner had plenty of options. The dishes change enough to make sure you do not get bored of the food. The pools are perfect, as well as the bars that go with it. The beach next to the hotel is not the prettiest, but it's perfect to cool down after a long day or to relax with a cocktail from the bar. The small town Roda is walkable by foot, which is also a big bonus. The staff were friendly, the apartments were clean. There is indeed a big hill to be walked for the newer part of the resort, but they have a separate pool as well and even though it is a steep hill, it is not too far to complain about. All in all, we had a great time here. Can recommend this place.

Facilities well maintained and clean. The apartments were well planned and had everything you needed for a home away from home, coffee percolator, kettle, hobs, sandwich maker, hairdryer. (No ironing facility) Great cleaners, fresh towels, replaced as required, toilet roll, shower gel, hand soap, and moisturising lotion available in apartment and filled up as needed. Bring along your own towel for beach or pool, or towels are available at reception for a deposit/ fee. It is hilly, but as I have mobility problems, we just phoned reception, and the groom is provided to transfer you to and from apartments to reception when needed. 2 large pools with 2 children's pools and a bar serving food beside our apartments higher up in complex. Then a downhill road, down to main hotel and dining hall, and reception. there was another large pool down beside the main hotel and just past that there was a beach bar and you were right on the beach. The views and gardens were beautiful. There is a Small mini market beside reception where you could purchase all the basics coffee, sugar, milk etc and small selection of food and a varied selection of other items from chargers, adaptors, toys for pool, t-shirts siuvenirs, lots of stuff in a small shop, staff were all lovely. There is another shop just down on the beach, a short walk from reception down the beach with a large variety of items, souvenirs, clothing, toys, water sports items, etc. and a taverna beside that serving fresh fish dishes, sorry, can't comment on food,we didn't get a chance to eat there. Roda town is about another pleasant 1km walk along the beach. In the town there are a variety of all kinds of food, bars, ice cream parlours tavernas and souvenir shops. It is spread out, so lots of walking to see it all. There are rental places to rent motorbikes and quads or you can rent a car quite reasonable prices. There is also a shop selling tourists boat trips, day cruises, shopping tours, lots to choose from. These can also be booked through your holiday rep. We availed of 2 ay cruises, the blue lagoon and paxos and anti paxos tours. Again, reasonably priced around €120 for us both, that included transfers for getting us to the boat, and on the blue lagoon included a bbq onboard. Both trips were highly enjoyable and I would recommend them. My favourite is the blue lagoon in the party boat with the bbq. We rented a road ready quad for a day @€50 and visited a few other local towns, along the coast. It was lovely getting to go see them in our own time. We were told there were regular buses and other bus trips which we didn't get to try. I would highly recommend Robolla Beach Aparthotel if you want a quiet getaway. It was a little bit of heaven on earth, and the staff were super friendly, attentive, and mannerly. They all spoke very good English. We went ½ board, and the food was really, very, very good, buffet style, plenty of choices, served yourself, tables were set with c cutlery, etc. Staff cleared away plates as toy finished, served drinks at the table, and did their best to answer any questions that we had. I would definitely go back again. It suited me a 60 year old disabled woman and I use a walking stick. Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday. We were there middle 2 weeks in June temps were in the 20's to 30's with a nice sea breeze, last few days 25th 26th temps were starting to rise steadily up a degree every day into the 30's.

My experience at Robolla Beach was fantastic. We went as a group of eight. Four groups of two. We spent a week and had a great time. The location and service were great. We had a small issue at the beginning of the holiday but was fixed quick and efficiently. Overall the group stay was great and would recommend Robolla Beach Hotel
