Close to town of El Calafate. Great views of the lake. Very cozy and warm. Tours pick up at this hotel as it’s the last one on the way to El Perito Moreno.
The hotel is a bit outdated but quiet and very good service is provided by the staff, from arrival to housekeeping and restaurant. Being far from the center you can’t walk anywhere but have to rely on the shuttle (every couple of hours) or taxi, which isn’t really convenient. Breakfast is okay. Toiletries and necessities are provided and appreciated, but a courtesy bottle of water would be expected for the standard of a 4*.
