Rockliffe Hall Hotel

What a lovely hotel. The rooms are spacious and ours has a view over the golf course. The spa is nice and the Clubhouse was a fabulous place to eat. Free ev charging and plenty of parking. Staff are friendly and attentive, would recommend a stay here.

I treated a friend to a overnight, meal and spa break. The room was amazing and staff were excellent... But we were mischarged, significantly, for the meal (we had 2 guests join us for dinner). Fortunately someone realised the receipt didn't match what we ate and were able to get (a £200+) refund but it A) wasn't acceptable B) I never had a response as to why it happened. I was ready to gush praise for the venue but I absolutely cannot now. Unacceptable.

We were charged £145 for a bottle of wine when we don’t drink alcohol !! We realised after paying our dinner that it was too much for what we ordered. Reading other reviews it seems a recurring theme not just a one off!!! They apologised and promised to refund the money plus service charge of £31..guess what we only received the £145! Dishonesty is their prominent feature so please check everything!
