Rocky Hollow Farmstay

For the price you pay, not recommended. Shower handle ,lights in bathroom not all working, plates do not match, paint peeling, no milk for coffee in the room. No wifi password shared.

I had a very disappointing stay at this property. The mattress was incredibly uncomfortable—so old that it sank in the middle, and every small movement would cause terrible creaking noises. Couldn’t sleep at all both nights. Brought it to owner’s attention but flat ignore. The walls had dirty patches, room full of dust and the pool was in such a poor condition that it was unusable. I also had to request the "braai" (barbecue), but when it arrived, it was in terrible shape—old, rusted, and unable to stand properly. On top of all of this, the location was not ideal at all, offering no view or privacy. Overall, a very unpleasant experience and not what I expected. Would not recommend at all.

The rooms were beautiful though some have no windows. No bar fidge on one of our rooms. The swimming pool was dirty so we didn't even swim. The gates were locked so we couldn't even take walks to have a view of the place. Electricity kept tripping thousands times, mxm. Sunday morning there was no water however we were expected to leave in time. The place truly needs a revamp, location sign on the road. Net on the windows to prevent bugs coming into the rooms. Spiders were everywhere 😭 Besides the bad experience, the staff ladies were lovely & available when needed.
