RockyPop Flaine Hotel & Spa

Absolutely loved our stay at Rocky Pop in Flaine! It is ideally suited to those with kids; so much for them to do and we felt comfortable giving them the freedom to do their own thing. It’s a super funky hotel! The bedrooms were large and comfy. The breakfast and evening buffets were brilliant; plenty of choice even for fussy eaters in our group. The staff were all really friendly and helpful! The ski shop was great and easy to use. Proximity to the slopes is fine. Would definitely stay again!

A little off the main forum but totally walkable- the rooms are a little small but they are clean and functional. The staff and food were great!! The sauna and steam room were very clean and appreciated post-ski!!! You can rent skis at the hotel and the staff there are fantastic, but be prepared to walk in ski boots to the slopes- you can instead rent from a ski shop on the forum but both work well!

The hotel itself was great - clean, great service, great amenities. When you arrive, you can park right in front of the hotel for free for 1.5 hrs (then they charge 9 Eu per hour I believe). There is a cheaper parking lot for 10 Eu for 24 hours and it's about a 5-7 min walk from the hotel (longer if you have luggage and if you park at the end of the lot). The hotel is also about a 5-7 min walk from the nearest ski lift/gondola (less if you're walking without skis, more if you walk slower with skis/ski boots). Not as convenient as a ski in/ski out hotel, but still not too far from the slopes.
