I have been regularly traveling to this hotel for 18 years now, and I must say that I have always left satisfied and well-rested. The reception staff is excellent – I would especially like to highlight Irina, who is very professional, friendly, and always does her best to fulfill every guest’s wishes. The rooms are spacious, and the hotel offers every service you can think of. The hotel has a huge capacity, so it’s no surprise that sometimes the staff is doing their best to manage everything! The hotel is vibrant, full of life – and I absolutely love it. We definitely recommend it as a family!

Far from 5-Star – A Disappointing Stay I was really looking forward to a luxury stay at this so-called 5-star hotel, but the reality was pretty underwhelming—more like a 3-star experience at best. The room was worn and clearly in need of a refresh. The curtains were visibly dirty, which made the entire space feel unkempt. White patch marks from repairs were still showing on the walls—no effort to blend or repaint. The balcony door was frustratingly difficult to close, which didn’t help when trying to keep the room quiet or cool. The food was hit or miss. Some meals were surprisingly decent, especially when they stuck to local dishes, but overall it lacked consistency. The drinks, however, were a real letdown—weak, overly sweet, and clearly made with the cheapest possible ingredients. Even the soft drinks tasted off. The hotel just doesn't deliver on its 5-star promise. From maintenance issues to average service, it all felt like a place that had given up on impressing guests and was just coasting on its photos and branding. If you go in expecting 3-star quality, you might not be too disappointed. But if you're booking this place based on the 5-star label, prepare to lower your expectations—significantly.

We (two adults and a teenager) had an interesting night at what’s advertised as a 5-star hotel with multiple swimming pools and a great location. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. This might have been a 5-star hotel 30–40 years ago, but today it’s a shadow of its former self. The entire property is worn down and poorly maintained. Some areas smell strongly of damp and mold, and the overall atmosphere feels neglected. Staff appeared disinterested and demotivated — as if they’d given up. The dining and breakfast areas are chaotic and noisy (bring noise-cancelling headphones if you dare to try). The dinner service was an outright disaster. As someone who has stayed in many true 5-star hotels, I can confidently say this was by far the worst I’ve experienced under that label. Instead, I strongly recommend trying one of the 3-star hotels in Rhodes city. They are not only much cheaper, but also cleaner, better maintained, and often offer much friendlier service.
