Rollestone Manor

Everything about this place was great. Friendly attentive service from the owners and staff, immediately made us feel well one and at home. Very beautiful large rooms with all the amenities, good food and drink experience - loved the experience of sitting in the separate cosy lounge for a drink before being led to supper in the dining room. Included full breakfast next morning was high end. Very close to Stonehenge and other historical attractions. Amazing value. Definitely recommend.

Five Stars All The Way - had a one night stay back in April while on holiday, beautiful manor with rich history. The food was first class and amazing - the staff beyond friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable - "warning" if you are over six feet tall you must mind your noggin walking through doorways, and walk sideways down the steps - they didn't have tall people with big feet in mind when they built it a few centuries back! I've been telling my friends if they are to ever visit Stonehenge - this is the place to stay! Amazing Hospitality

The rooms are nice. At the time of year we visited I am not sure I could recommend the location - it is in the middle of nowhere if you want to see the area without driving. There is nothing in Shrewton that we could see. I am trying to be positive about the “service” (I spend about 80 nights a year in “corporate” hotels and I know this is someone’s home - not my usual Hilton) but we arrived before the designated check in time and were sent away - on a wet Friday in Wiltshire after a 4 hour drive so I wasn’t feeling the love (the Hilton would have pointed me at the bar and told me to make myself at home - but please see my comment above!!!!). The food was ok - not great - but there was not a lot (NONE) of other choices unless you want to drive and there are no cabs in this area! I won’t rush back but please don’t avoid on my account - I have stayed at worse - and if you have reason to be in the area I am sure you will love it
