Romantic Bijou

Our stay at Villa Barony Le Pergole Lugano was an exquisite moment spent with friends. The location of the property overlooking the lake and the architecture of this marvelous property immediately caused a sensation. The welcome by the owner of the place provided us with useful information to have the best stay. The rooms are pleasantly furnished, with a breathtaking view of the lake, not overlooked, and very peaceful. The bedding is perfect and nothing is missing and if necessary, you can contact the owner who responds or even comes if necessary. The very friendly welcome meant that we enjoyed this unforgettable stay and were able to organize superb days in the surrounding area, even a panoramic helicopter tour from Lake Como as well as a private walk on Lake Como in water limousine from Menaggio. We are thinking of returning in 2025 as we enjoyed this villa so much.

I am from Saudi Arabia and I stayed with my family in three bedrooms apartment-it was duplex and has air conditioning. We stayed in summer of 2012. We had the best time ever. The most important element was Christel she was nice , kind, and what ever she can to make our stay comfortable. I took my kids to Americans schoola for summer course. We enjoyed the stay and we will come back. It looks late review, however I found my self debts to Christel that I didn’t write the review back then Samer Bakhsh

Ancient splendours...current horrors…. This property has nothing to do with the pictures or the services described in the website, the pictures are 7 years old….. This property maybe was very nice 20 years ago but now is simply unacceptable at 500 CHF per night The property is crumbling, no maintenance has been done for years and: - We found insects and dirt in the bed and all over the apartment - There is rubbish and junk all over the property - The balcony of our apartment is nothing more that the access corridor to 3 of the apartments including the owner with no privacy and practically impossible to spend time outside - The main terrace is not usable; no services are provided and is used as storage and facility space for the cleaning ladies - Zero COVID measures were implemented, no signage, no barriers no social distancing and most of the staff does not even use a mask while working on the property - We left 4 days in advance and we lost our money !!!! Stay away from this place!!!!
