I had a wonderful stay. My first visit was 2012 and I love to come back. The atmosphere at this resort is really amazing! Just relaxing at the pool and enjoying the food at La Pergola, Uliveto or Patio 101 is worth a visit. I would also recommend booking an Imperial Room because then you have a access to a wonderful lounge with different dishes throughout the day and a great view of Rome‘s landscape. All the staff here are friendly and kind people.
Anna from Concierge was wonderful. She helped me book a Vatican and Coliseum tour, tennis with a tennis pro, and shared interesting stories and details about the hotel and Rome. The Imperial Club Room check in and welcome experience was luxurious. Thanks to Claudia and Vittoria. The breakfast was perfect. The detail of fruit preparation and selection and quality of juices were world class.
Hilton should be embarrassed of this hotel. It is super tired and dated. The property is half grandma 60’s vibes from its opening and half 2014 vibes from its last renovation. The rooms and super dusty, moldy and musty. We immediately had breathing problems in our room. I tried to leave and check out but they said my reservation was non refundable so I felt like I was a prisoner on holiday. The “view” from the room was terrible of an ugly apartment building and an enormous red cell tower. The location was awful, Nothing was walkable and it’s a 25 minute drive to any tourist destination. So at least an extra hour of transportation each day and 2 hours if you want to rest during the day. The pool was nice and the included breakfast buffet was a highlight. We accidentally discovered they had an afternoon kids club on our last day, that no one had told us about. The food prices were ridiculous, even by “high end” hotel standards. iced tea or sodas €10. a side of rice €15. small can of water €5, black Coffee €8.
