Room 230 Roma Luxury Suites

The location of this hotel is perfect! Just near all the scooters, restaurants, shops and more. Only 15 minute walk or less if in scooter to Trevi Fountain. Besides that, the staff was great. The housekeeper is super nice as well as the front desk. Lovely people. I left some of my stuff behind in the hotel, Paolo was very helpful and dropped my stuff at UPS. The hotel arranged our last minute transfer from the airport and it was great too. Our flight arrived very late and we were able to smoothly check-in at night. Rooms are clean and have everything you need with the most reasonable price❤️ I recommend staying here if you are planning to visit Rome around almost everyday. Breakfast was nice too.

This was my second stay at Room 230, and it just keeps getting better! First of all, in my humble opinion, this guest house is located in the BEST neighborhood in Rome, called "Monti." As a return visitor to the Eternal City (8 times)I love to just wander, and I have walked to every attraction in Rome from here, aided by the metro which is a 10 minute or less stroll down Via Nazionale. I also travel with carry on only, and walk easily from theTermini train station to the B&B. Via Nazionale has excellent shopping for every budget, and there are countless amazing restaurants in Monti also. As for the accommodations, for me they are perfect. The 4 suite B&B is located on the 2nd floor (with elevator) of a glorious old building, like stepping back in time, yet into a stylish modern suite! When I say the bed is THE MOST COMFORTABLE I have ever slept in, I am not exaggerating! I have already inquired of the owner what the brand is so I can get one for my home, if I can afford it. I got the best 2 nights sleep of my two week trip to Europe in this bed. The a/c also was wonderful, as it was almost 100 degrees F when I visited this past July. I have stayed in hotels all over Europe where they have the room a/cs set and you cannot adjust them, but that was not the case here. After almost succumbing to heat stroke, I came home, cranked it up, took a shower and felt like a new person. Speaking of the shower, it has a rainfall head and also a handheld nozzle, and was just magical. The breakfast is delicious, and is served in your room daily at the time you choose. One of the best parts of this place is the owner, Paolo. He is Roman and takes great pride in both his city and his guest house. There is NOTHING that is too much trouble before, during and after your stay. He has gone above and beyond for myself and my friends on more than one occassion, and treats his guests with courtesy and respect. You can tell he genuinely cares about people. I don't think you can find anything comparable in the city for the reasonable rates at this B&B. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as I did, and fall in love with the city of Rome! Don't forget to throw a coin in the fountain if you want to guarantee a return. It has worked for me 8 times already, and I am confident about Number 9...

Pleasent surprised once I got into the building, very modern, interesting the one door that covered either the toilet or shower. Good facilities in the room, clean. Might be a bit difficult to find as there are no marking outside, look for a big sign saying Hotel Miami, inside go right first floor. Good location, 50 min walking in a straight line to the Vatican, 25 min walk to the Colloseum, 30 min walk to the pantheon, 20 min to Fontani Di Trevi.
