Great hotel. Had a great stay here recently. Spent five nights here and had a great experience. We chose the hotel because of its good review and proximity to the Coliseum and other sights. This hotel didn't disappoint. The staff was very welcoming and offered us maps and tips to enjoy Rome. (Thank you!) And it's close to a Metro stop and the buses. Despite being so close to one of the world's top attractions, the streets around the hotel are quiet and safe. And there are plenty of great places to eat nearby too. Great room and service staff too. I've read other reviews about the price of the breakfast. Yes, the price is a little high, but having breakfast with a view of the Coliseum a few blocks away is well worth it.
Wonderful Hotel with a super nice staff and generous spanking clean rooms. The fact that it is centred around the Colosseum area makes it easy access to all the historical sites of Rome. I think it has one of the rooftop bars in Rome so don’t miss it even if you’re staying somewhere else Highly recommended.
This was one of the most alarming and unacceptable experiences I’ve ever had in a hotel. A male staff member entered my room at night while I was sleeping at 11:50 PM —completely violating my privacy and sense of safety. I immediately reported the incident to the reception, but shockingly, they showed no concern or urgency and they just said sorry and we can give you a complimentary breakfast. This is a serious security breach, and the lack of response from the hotel is absolutely disgraceful. Guests should never have to feel unsafe in their own rooms.
