Stayed at the hotel during a business trip. All employees have been incredibly helpful and have assisted us in any questions or requirement. The rooms as spacious and extremely clean, with comfortable beds and fully stocked mini bars. The food has been great and the variety is great being that at the breakfast buffet, the hotel restaurant or the room service. The roofbar has a nice view and several alcoholic or non-alcoholic options.
The hotel is very elegant and beautiful and we were upgraded to a nice larger room for titanium status. However when something goes wrong the staff does not know how to handle things. We came in August and the room air conditioning didn’t work. It was set to heat and stayed at 23 c all the time!! There was no resolution to this and at night we couldn’t sleep. The main reason for getting a hotel is to sleep. Also our bathroom had water leaking on the floor. The staff did not handle these issues adequately. And even at the bar no one came to ask what drinks I wanted. They really do not know how to communicate. Most of the hotel is made well. The spa area is also well made with steam and dry saunas and a bubble bath. The pool area is on the rooftop next to the bar and that was pretty crowded. The breakfast was also very good and there was a lot of choice. The walk to the town is about 15 min so it is quite far away. Hopefully they will teach their staff what luxury travel means and how to handle problems. Overall it’s a good hotel but hope you don’t have any issues.
This is a smart, modern hotel with quality fittings and furnishings. Our accessible room (217) was large and the wet-room bathroom was good and safe. The staff are friendly and eager to help - maybe too eager? The location is good - not right in the centre of town but in easy walking distance. There's a nice rooftop terrace and bar. Unfortunately we had to cut short our stay and left after one night because the bed is unsuitable for someone who uses a wheelchair and has limited mobility - the bed is too low and there is a pointless low platform each side of it, making access difficult. All the rooms are apparently the same. Bizarrely, considering that the room was packed was gadgets (including some switches that I never figured-out), it had no kettle. Using the room's tablet I ordered one to be brought to the room but it never arrived. Perhaps phoning reception the old-fashioned way is still best? Overall, my impression is that this hotel is not as good as it thinks it is.
