Rooms Hotel Tbilisi

Absolutely beautifully designed hotel. Have Marriott Bonvoy status and was grateful to be upgraded to a King Garden room. But there was construction on that floor so they kindly moved me to a queen garden on a higher floor. The beds were splendid. Location is outside of old town which meant travel needs to be taken into consideration but it also meant less crowds.

Have to admit this is the best location and nice (bit not user friendly) design. Half of the staff are willing to show hospitality. But that’s it, unfortunately. As the other half of the personnel are just not bothered to respond to “hello/thank you/good bye”. Couple of waiters almost rolled their eyes when reminded of my order. Seems the Hotel is going through tough times… Old and barely working blow dryers in the room - better not to have any. But what hits more is breakfast 🥲 wilted cucumbers, cherry (?) tomatoes, nearly semisweet watermelon… all this should not exist in Georgia. I don’t care if u decided to make it a knocking shop with all that mirrors next to bed and etc, but having in the kitchen someone who dose not care about the food - that’s unforgivable.

Very nice looking hotel with an excellent restaurant. However, the aircon does not work. After multiple complaints we were told that this is the best they can do and any colder is bad for the skin and beyond their permissions. This was at 25 degrees inside the room! Go in winter, don’t venture there in summer
