Stayed in a triple room 517 at Rooms Hotel Vienna. The room was decent and clean, with comfortable beds. But for a four star hotel, it’s hard to believe there was no fridge in the room, a basic amenity you’d expect. Also watch out, if the window handle is turned to the open position, the cooler air stops working, and this is not explained anywhere. A few simple fixes could really improve the experience.
We stayed for three nights and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to explore the area. Check-in via the tablet was a bit frustrating, but the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, which made up for it. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a great job throughout our stay. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room didn’t work properly — even when set to the maximum, the room didn’t cool down, which affected our comfort, especially at night. Breakfast was fine with a decent selection, but there were no name labels on the dishes. For me, that was a downside, as I like to know what I'm eating, especially when it comes to dietary needs or allergies. Despite a few minor issues, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the welcoming atmosphere.
Nice, modern hotel in excellent shape, but the service leaves much to be desired. With few exceptions, the staff seemed more preoccupied with themselves than with guests, often displaying a condescending attitude. Watching two waiters clean the same table—one wiping, the other drying—while intermittently checking their phones only reinforced the sense of being unwelcome.
