Root Hotel Karaköy Bosphorus

It was my first time in Istanbul, and I couldn’t have been happier with my stay at Roots. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family — warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and had everything I needed for a truly comfortable stay. The location was ideal — right in the heart of the city, with charming cafés just across the street and major landmarks like Galata Tower and the Grand Bazaar within easy walking distance. As an English speaker visiting Turkey, I really appreciated how effortlessly Roots made everything feel — smooth, stress-free, and genuinely enjoyable. I’ll absolutely be back!

I can't imagine being based in a better location for an amazing istanbul holiday. Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely styling throughout the hotel and one of the best breakfasts I've enjoyed in any hotel I've stayed in. I highly recommend staying here. You're literally meters from some amazing restaurants and bars or waterside for an elevated experience. Thank you to the team for an amazing stay

We had a great stay at Root Hotels! The decor is super modern and beautiful—everything felt thoughtfully designed and aesthetically pleasing. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the start. Our favorite part by far was the breakfast each morning—delicious, fresh, and such a lovely way to start the day. As others have mentioned, it can be a bit noisy, but that’s pretty typical for a city stay and didn’t take away from the experience. The only real downside was the AC—it struggled to keep the room cool, so it stayed pretty warm most of the time. We also used the gym and spa area once, and while it’s a nice amenity to have, there was a really strong sewage gas smell that made it tough to enjoy.
