Ros In Hotel Yogyakarta

The best hotel near South Ring Road Yogyakarta. The breakfast buffet was all good and delicious. The rooms are clean and equipped with good facilities like AC central, big curtain, 3 plugs, bedside tables, a fridge, a table lamp, and a hair dryer in the restroom. Good experience staying here for one night indeed. There is a fitness center and swimming pool as well.

This was a tough one to review - here is the good - The location is perfect on the southern ring road of Jogja. The staff are welcoming and try to accomodate requests. The building is large and recently built in 2011. Beautifully decorated. The rooms range from small to large. We stayed ont he 4th floor and had a very large room. It was spacious and the bed was comfy, The facilites were clean and the cleaning staff were helpful. The problems: Despite wanting to like the hotel there were a few issues. The internet kept dropping and was not reliable - this is a problem as the hotel boasts to be a business centre. The facilities are worn and seem to be outdated - even in 2011 the aircon, hairdryer in the bathroom and other furnishings seem outdated. The fitness centre was equipped with the basics but the air con was not working properly - it felt very hot and stuffy. The pool was nice if a little ont he small side. It was clean. Again, there were broken tiles, and other minor damages that needed repairing. Moderniasation and repair seemed to be the main issues. Breakfast was good and the selection was nice. Room service was quick but the food was unimpressive. The fried bannana was raw inside and not properly cooked. Overall we had a nice stay and the problems did not stop us enoying the hotel and its location - but there is room for important improvements.
