Couldn't be happier with the hotel - the Staff at Rosabianca and its restaurant, Il Saletto. They were attentive, helpful, interested and it was clear they couldn't do more for us. The room was very pleasant and clean - exactly what you would expect from a modern European 4-star standard. Rapallo is heavenly and we were ideally situated, overlooking the bay and within a 2 minute walk into old town. We also had a fantastic meal at Il Saletto where we were spoilt by the Staff who offered us complimentary dishes and local amaro. The chef prepared fresh food using local seafood - we enjoyed spectacular crudo, calamari 'linguine', spaghetti with sea urchins and seafood risotto. Will definitely come back and revisit.
I stayed recently in the hotel for 5 nights, the hotel is very well located , with an awesome view on the sea, all the staff were very kind with high quality of service. The room is very big actually is a small appartment 1 bedroom with a salon, very clean, the room service is everyday flexible time. The breakfast is very nice , made with fresh product.
The hotel staff came to clean our room even though we did not put the sign requesting for cleaning. I realized that they took our towels and did not provide with any new ones. I called the lobby and they told me they would bring some, after 10 minutes and no news I go to the lobby and they seem surprised that I have not received any towels. After investigations the staff tells me that there are no towels left in the hotel and that they can give me a hand cloth. I told them that this is outrageous, that they took my perfectly fine towel and then left me with none. They decided that my towel was dirty after one use and then left me with nothing. This is the first time in my life that I’ve been in a hotel with no towels. They should’ve bought one if they had an issue. I paid 1000€ for 5 days and I did not have a towel because they took it from me. You can imagine the distress after a day at the beach. The lobby staff did not seem to care and just “apologized” without any real emotion or care. I am really disappointed in this hotel, and the elevator was not working most of the times.
