Rosedale Hotel Hong Kong

Stayed here for a few nights and was very happy with the service. They upgraded my room without asking, which I really appreciate. Staff are polite and helpful, room was clean and quite spacious. Location is convenient, easy to get food nearby. Maybe the hotel is a bit old, but overall very comfortable. Good experience, I will come back next time.

I’ve stayed here many times and really enjoy the neighborhood around the hotel—it’s full of life and has a great local atmosphere. The location is very convenient, close to both Causeway Bay and Tin Hau MTR stations. This time, I booked an executive suite. However, one major discomfort was that the suite was separated from the neighboring room by just a connecting door. This raises concerns both in terms of safety and sound insulation. During our stay, we had to knock on the neighbor’s door twice in the middle of the night to ask them to keep the noise down, as it was disturbing our rest. Among all my stays here, this is the one aspect that I feel most needs improvement.

Overall, a very poor experience here. The WiFi is very weak. The lift situation is extremely poor. If you are on a higher floor, leave 10/15 minutes to exit the building especially at busier times. During the check out period, guests would be cramming into the lift with their bags and the lift would then stop at several floors on the way down. The 'fitness room' is tiny with a multi-purpose cable machine that is well past it's best and hardly works. Rooms clean and quiet.
