Ben the cocktail barman was great, personable, nothing was too much trouble, great drinks served with passion. The ladies in the dinning room were even better, great service with a can do attitude. I had the lamb curry, I asked for my basmati rice to accompany the curry to have colour instead of boring white rice. The chef did us proud, it was visually beautiful and tasted great.

Very Disappointed – Twice Now This is the second time I’ve left this establishment feeling disappointed. While I was having a massage, my elderly mother was told she couldn’t sit in the lounge to enjoy a coffee and scone because they "don’t want guests to mess on the furniture." How utterly insulting. Instead, she was told to sit outside—in the cold! A few months ago, we stopped by just for a coffee and scone, only to be told we needed a booking. For coffee and a scone? Really? Such a pity. The massage itself was absolutely divine—no complaints there. But unfortunately, the poor attitude and lack of training from the front-of-house staff ruin what could otherwise be a lovely experience. We won’t be returning.

we arrived today after a wonderful stay at lairds, plettenberg Bay, which couldnt be more of a contrast! no welcome drink, pool covered in leaves, poor service, old shower, hairdryer and shampoo and conditioner in one container..ordered ostrich for dinner and waited over an hour to be served chicken. had to ask for late delivery of wine. no owner or manager available. cant wait to leave. really disappointed
