What a fantastic property. Everything was top notch. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by Brian at the door and escorted to the front desk where Melissa swiftly and professionally checked us into our suite. Brian then assisted with our luggage and toured us around the property and offered many suggestions and tips about the property and surrounding areas. The room was spacious and luxurious and spotlessly clean. Lunch at Miramar Beach bar was terrific. Mmmm those tacos are fire!!! Dinner at Revere was excellent. The hostess, Anna Lisa (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was so sweet and kind. Our server Nathan was attentive and personable. We had the black cod and Wagyu strip. Both were fantastic and by far the best Wagyu strip I've had. Lounging at the beach and pool are an absolute must at the Miramar. All staff we encountered were so warm, friendly and were always ready to assist and constantly smiling and happy, which made us feel the same. We took advantage of the house e bikes and again Brian was our first point of contact and he set us up with our rides and helmets and suggested a great plan for the day. I must say you have a real gem in Brian. He always seemed to be in the right place at the right time anytime we needed help at the door/valet. He is a consumate professional, so attentive and made us feel like we were the only ones in the resort despite him obviously being very busy with other guests. Thank you Brian. Housekeeping was amazing, with thoughtful little touches such as wrapping our charging cables, replenishing ice daily and the room was meticulously clean every day. Thank you Rosewood Miramar. We will definitely be back! Dale and Nancy
Smells of sunscreen, la mer, Birkins, and generational wealth. Standard upscale yacht club vibe. Everyone strolls by wearing linens, and looking like they just stepped out of a yacht brochure. Hotel is dog friendly, which is cool. Food and service is good. Would recommend.
Exceptional service in a stunning setting. The attention to detail is remarkable – from perfectly maintained rooms and common areas, fresh-cut flowers and elegant dishware to premium furniture, luxury toiletries, and professionally trained staff. The cuisine is outstanding and the views breathtaking. We stayed in Room 104 (Beach House King) located across the railway tracks directly on the beach. However, we encountered several issues: 1. The beachfront rooms lack backup generators, resulting in a power outage that lasted 3 hours. This was particularly problematic as my husband requires a CPAP device for sleep. The room service breakfast we had ordered prior to departure could also not be fully delivered due to the outage. 2. The beachfront terraces offer limited privacy, especially evident when our neighbors hosted numerous friends and rowdy children on their terrace for an extended period. 3. A large wedding took place during two days of our stay – information we weren't provided beforehand. Wedding guests occupied all restaurants, bars, and the lawn area, making us feel like outsiders as we navigated the periphery in casual attire. Securing tables for breakfast or at the Miramar beach bar proved challenging. 4. The beach below the hotel contains natural tar and what appears to be oil spill residue, which damaged some of our clothes and footwear. Approximately eight operating and decommissioned oil rigs visible offshore somewhat diminish the otherwise spectacular view. While these issues might be acceptable at a different price point, they are difficult to overlook when rooms normally command rates exceeding $4,000 per night.
