I didn't stay at the hotel. I did eat at the resin the hotel. It's my favorite restaurant in DC. Food is absolutely fantastic. But its the service that blows your mind Luke the manager is so on top of every order. And It's his ability to make you feel like you're the only one eating dinner in the restaurant is a real special talent. Thank you Guy Fero
The location was amazing. Room upgraded to a fantastic suite with Amex platinum with one full bath and 1/2 bath located in hallway. Bed was so comfy and luxurious shower had lots of hot water. The room was immaculate and beautifully furnished. The mahogany doors gave the room more opulence. Turn down service was outstanding. This was our first visit and we would love to arrange another stay very soon. Restaurants everywhere, shops and stores galore. They was a 50% sale in Feb. at Barbour store. You have to give it a try. Definitely a 5 star stay. Special thanks to Melissa (front desk), Desalegn ( Best doorman in DC, and Daniel (waiter). The young gentleman that initially checked me in was great, but I didn't get his name. Thank you Rosewood for a fabulous stay!
Not your typical Rosewood, which we are used to. The room is fabulous, but they emailed ahead to specifically be ready for us, as usual. They were not; nor were they particularly concerned about it. Cut is overrated and overpriced with a limited menu, as is room service. The pool is beautifully placed but nothing to talk about. It's no bigger than a goldfish bowl with about as much privacy. You can have a conversation with people in the bar while you swim; that's how uncomfortable it is! A simple well placed divider could alleviate this situation at least a bit. This and the humidity are yet another reason not to visit DC
