Super standard

We spent a week in the Ross cottages in the VIP area. Cons: - limited storage space. Downstairs, there's one small dresser under the TV, and upstairs, a miniature wardrobe with a sloping ceiling. One room is okay because there are two dressers, the other room only has two small cabinets under a lamp. We think the VIP area should have more storage space. There's also one miniature drawer in the bathroom. And the cottage probably sleeps 9 people. - no hairdryer. I know it wasn't listed, but I think it should be standard in the VIP area. - smoking allowed on the terrace. As non-smokers, we often smelled the stench from the neighbors. Smoke also drifted upstairs, where it blew in through the open balcony doors. Not great for non-smokers. Pros: - cleanliness - friendly service - close to the sea (5 min from the cottage, 7 min walk) - modern - atmosphere, greenery, and lighting - clean, heated swimming pool (cleaned and chlorinated daily) - parking space (right behind the cottage) - grocery stores nearby, but we recommend driving a little further to the Polo Market - tasty restaurants nearby - you can hear the waves in the cottage with the window open - despite some reviews about poor soundproofing, it didn't bother us at all and we didn't feel it was noisy * There's a construction site nearby, but there was no construction going on while we were on vacation and there was no noise. Overall impression: I'd happily return there and we had a really great vacation! There are so few resorts like this on the Polish coast :)

Our stay in the cottages unfortunately left a mixed impression. One of the rooms, designed for four people, turned out to be very small, with a sloping ceiling – for older people, getting out of bed was truly uncomfortable. Furthermore, with four people in such a small space, it was very hot at night, even with the window open. Another downside was only one bathroom for eight people, which proved challenging in practice. The pool water was rather cool (in practice, its temperature depends on the weather) and could have been cleaner. The additional electricity fee of 200 PLN for eight days was a surprise, even though we spent most of our time outside the cottage. The reception staff could also have been more polite and helpful. The sea is about an 8-minute walk away, which is a plus, but it could have been quite noisy until late at night (around 11:00 PM).
