Royal Amsterdam Hotel

This charming hotel is situated in an excellent location. From the moment we arrived, the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Their professionalism and warm hospitality were evident in every interaction, from the efficient check-in process to their genuine willingness to assist with any request. The level of service exceeded expectations, with staff members consistently going above and beyond to accommodate guests. Any requests I had were promptly addressed, with a team member arriving at my door within minutes, demonstrating their commitment to providing a first-class experience. Whether offering local recommendations, ensuring our comfort, or simply greeting us with a friendly smile, their dedication to exceptional service truly stood out. The room was well-appointed, featuring all the amenities one would expect from a high-quality four-star establishment. The breakfast selection was outstanding, offering a wide variety of options to suit all preferences. Our stay was truly enjoyable, and we will certainly be returning in the future.

I went only to the restaurant. We waited 1hr for the main dish, and the place was far from being full. At least food was good enough. Wont recommend, unless you have 50% off

We paid €1,637.24 to stay for 2 nights in this hotel. From the minute we got to the door the cleanliness was appalling. The smell inside the lift was awful and the lift was tiny. The corridor on the second floor was full of dust and dirt, not cleaned at all. We stayed in rooms 204 and 206. When you come out of the room it takes a few seconds for the door to shut behind you which is also very concerning for the safety of our belongings inside the room.The toilet pot had yellow stains all over it. The plug sockets were coming out of the walls, wires were hanging out. We were sat in the restaurant off the hotel having our dinner and we seen a rat come up from the gutter. This was deeply concerning, we did not feel clean or comfortable what so ever. I would not recommend staying in this hotel! I emailed the hotel looking for some sort of help or accommodation for the experience we had to deal with and they just come off like they don’t care what so ever .
