We had a quiet, clean room with a big bathroom and the AC worked fine. I had to work from the hotel room and hated the table in the corner and the chairs were really uncomfortable. The WiFi works well. You’ll be fine if you don’t plan on working from there. The cleaning service was also good and we had good interactions with the staff. The breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The restaurant food was great, but still a bit pricey. The restaurant service could be improved. I couldn’t get a table at some point because there was nobody there to serve me, even though the place was empty. The parking lot is rather small, but you might find a spot if you call ahead of time. Good enough connections to the city center via nearby buses.
Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We had been here before and liked the soup, so we came back specifically for it — big mistake. This time, the bread they brought was dry and old, and the soup was absolutely awful. Bland and nothing like what we remembered. While bringing the soups, the waiter spilled half of them on the floor, then splashed some on himself, on my clothes, and even on my phone. He said nothing, just placed the bowls in front of us as if nothing had happened and tried to walk away. We had to ask him to replace them. He said okay, left, and came back with new ones… almost spilling them again. At that point, we had no interest in eating anything else and just asked for the bill. Then came more chaos. The waiter didn’t speak a word of English — and this is supposed to be a restaurant in a 3-star hotel! We tried to explain that we wanted to pay with our vacation card, which we had already started the process for at reception (where, by the way, the receptionist was rude and seemed like he was high). But the waiter didn’t understand, kept insisting on card payment, and eventually walked away — only to swear in Romanian, thinking we wouldn’t understand because we were speaking English. But we understand romanian... I stood up and said loudly that we wouldn’t tolerate this much disrespect. Then the receptionist and another waiter came over — the receptionist started laughing at the situation. Completely bizarre. At least the other waiter was polite and tried to fix things — he apologized and said we didn’t have to pay. Still, the whole experience was unbelievably bad. Disrespectful, messy, and embarrassing. We will never come back.
Worst restaurant experience we've had in a long time. We came back here because we remembered enjoying the soup the last time. This time, the bread was stale and dry, and the soup was completely different from what we had before: flavorless, watery, and honestly just bad. We waited a long time for some warm water. We ordered 2 orange freshes, both 750ml but they brought us just 250ml... The waiter spilled part of the soup while serving it, on the floor, on himself, on my partner. He didn’t say a word about it. Just dropped the bowls in front of us and tried to walk off like nothing happened. We had to stop him ourselves and ask for new bowls. He came back with replacements, almost dropped them again on us. At that pont we just wanted to leave. But then came the chaos with the bill. The waiter didn’t speak any English, in a hotel restaurant that’s supposed to serve international guests? We tried explaining we were paying with a vacation card, something we’d already sorted at the reception, but he didn’t get it. Then we heard him swear in Romanian to us, assuming we wouldn't understand. But I did understand it though. That’s when we stepped in and said we wouldn’t accept that kind of treatment. The receptionist, this guy was rude to us even just as we walked in and asked about our account for the vacation card, was just laughing, laughed even at the name spelling, even then seemed like something is weird. All came clear when after our experience with the waiter he came there too only to laigh more... To be honest, he appeared to be intoxicated, totally unrespectful and unprofessional behavior. Thankfully, another waiter stepped in, apologized, and told us we didn’t have to pay. That was the only decent part of the night — but overall, this place was a mess. Poor service, disrespect, zero professionalism. Definitely won’t be coming back. And hope the owners will take action and remediate the employee situation, finding some more capable ones.. all happened during the afternoon - evening shift (26.07.2025).
