Royal Cliff Beach Hotel Pattaya

Beautiful hotel with excellent maintenance despite its age. Located at one of the most scenic spots in Pattaya. Spacious grounds, multiple buildings and pools, tons of activities. tennis, fitness, pickleball. Great service, clean and well equipped rooms. One last thing. Be sure to book your room with Breakfast!

The pools and views are amazing. Private beach too which is unique. The rooms were nice, greats views also. Showers are a bit average with very low shower heads and bad water pressure, but it’s not a deal breaker. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they spoke great English which was beneficial. I’d definitely be back!

This is rather a blown-up 4 star hotel than true 5 star experience. Given its reasonable price, one cannot expect much more. During our stay in June, the hotel was almost empty and the tremendously vast areas were mostly unused and felt deserted. What I really did not like, and this will be a factor to drive down customer loyalty, is the greedy policies. In an entirely empty hotel, the customer is constantly given the feeling to have to pay on top. While check in, the first thing they offered was an upgrade for cash for sea view. At the tennis club, the only thing they seem to care is how much you are obliged to pay and they constantly reiterate extra costs. This is clearly dictated by the management and good luck with that. We will not come again and I do recommend others to look for more attractive, and customer-oriented hotels nearby that do not cost much more.
