It is a great hotel. Super nice an spacious rooms with all the utilities you'd need. Clean and very well maintained. Wellness area is great too, ideal with family of all ages as well. Breakfast and dinner options are limited and was never refilled without asking multipple tomes for it. That's not 4 stars service. The staff garbs the leftovers after the last guest, which is wierd a little, feels bad to be the last one basically eating their food. Doesn't feel right. But other than this it is just an amazing place, really.
Very nice hotel close to the Danube, clean and big rooms, very nice spa area. There might be some room for improvement though - nice kitchen corner in the suite but cutlery only available on request, which is not convenient. You have to pay extra fee for the parking and service fee plus 4000HUF for room service - which can easily double the meal's price if you prefer to have one meal in the room. Dinner was great, breakfast not so much.
Improvements required for this hotel to be classified as 4 stars, price / quality not justified at the moment. Spa: steam room (wet sauna) was out of order the two days we were there, so there was only one classical Finish sauna (dry sauna). Plus 3 infrared dry saunas - but these did not provide uniform heat. No thermal water. Spa was supposed to be open from 7:00, but sauna was not heated up beforehand, so unable to enjoy until much later (we asked about this the day before). Staff was not available in the morning to provide towels, and we had to repeatedly ask them to turn on hot tub jets ( 15 min wait). Suite: both bedrooms only had one window with dark blinds. The second window had a see-through blind, therefore, bothersome light shone in from outside early in the morning disturbing our sleep. Surely, this is even worse during the summer. Kitchen: as other guests have noted, no cutlery was provided by defect, which is very impractical for guests. Room service & restaurant: I feel like hotel management and staff just did not pay enough attention or did not care enough to provide great service. Room Service: We ordered a combination meal, and our two salads were forgotten, and we had to call to remind them. Dinner was delicious, the tiramisu was awesome! Breakfast: We had to remind staff on three different occasions that food had run out. The hotel was not full, so I wonder how this is handled when there is a full house. Great service justifies the automatic room service charge, but otherwise this just leaves guests feeling disappointed and taken advantage of. Also, parking fee charged for outside parking in the nearly empty parking lot ( not in a garage), which was not pointed out. Would love to return if improvements would be made for a better experience!
