Royal Deluxe Hotel

Somewhat pretentious accommodation. The room is OK but TOO small (De Lux), so claustrophobic. The place is VERY noisy - down to the clubs outside. The place lacks regular maintenance, the room cleanliness is also an issue. The saving grace for this establishment was Inna, the receptionist. Helpful and efficient young woman. Very professional and very welcoming. Truly an asset to this business.

The AC in all the rooms are set up in a central system. I checked in at 2 PM and it’s now 5:30 and the AC still does not work. The girl at the front desk says that the AC will be working by this evening. I read reviews where others have mentioned the AC not working as well. It seems to be a scam in order for the hotel to save money on the electricity. Other than that and the room being very small, it seems okay and is clean. Waiting for tonight to see how loud the music from the bar is next door. I knew that this was an issue but decided that I could turn on a white noise machine and get some sleep for a reasonable price. However, no AC is a bit ridiculous.

I stayed in this hotel six nights, the carpet in the room has never been cleaned, the towels have never been replaced nor the bed linen, I have had to ask for liquid soap and toilet paper several times; in the hotel then in addition to the noises until late at night of the adjacent night clubs there are cackles and screams of customers who set themselves apart for sexual appointments. I will never go back, it is unworthy.
