I stayed here for one night while I was en route to Sharm el-Sheikh, mainly because I wanted to see the pyramids while I was here. The view from the rooftop cafe is amazing. The rooms are lovely, particularly if you are a family traveling together, the layout is quite nice (and the mattresses were so comfortable). The staff was incredibly helpful. Maryam at the front desk assisted us with multiple things that we needed during our very short stay. The hotel is directly across the street from the new museum. We had not intended to go to the museum, but since we had a few hours before our flight we went. [Warning there is a barrier that makes crossing the street slightly difficult, some might prefer a taxi despite the fact that you are right next to it.] Be sure to tell your driver that the hotel is across from the museum—everything in this vicinity is “royal,” “grand” and “pyramid.”. Even with the address more than one driver got extremely confused.

Our stay at this hotel was overall very pleasant. The highlights were the friendly staff, the clean and relatively new rooms, and the excellent breakfast. The breathtaking view made the hotel experience even more special. Additionally, the free airport pick-up service was a wonderful surprise—we were even contacted in advance to inform us about this offer, which we greatly appreciated. However, a major downside was the noise level in the rooms. Although we received an upgrade to a Junior Suite, the street noise was very noticeable. Our family members who stayed in Deluxe Rooms with a panoramic view experienced the same issue. Since we were already aware of this from previous reviews, it wasn’t a complete surprise, but it was still bothersome. During our two-night stay, the rooms were not cleaned. This was not a major issue for us, but it remains unclear how often housekeeping is usually done. Despite these drawbacks, we can highly recommend the hotel due to its excellent location near the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) and the Pyramids. Anyone looking for a great view, delicious breakfast, and an ideal base for exploring the area will be well taken care of here—just be prepared for some street noise.

This place is just weird but it has an awesome view of the Grand Egyptian Museum and the Pyramides. Went here for dinner and had to climb the 6 stories of stairs to the top as the lift is for guests only. When we got there, the vibe was very strange and weird. We were seated down, not offered drinks and we left after 15mins left as didn't feel safe but the view is awesome.
