Royal Hainaut Spa & Resort Hotel

A lovely experience. Nice room in a well renovated historic building. We also enjoyed our dinner at “La Gallerie”, it is fair quality regarding of the price, the nice atmosphere of the place and professionalism of the staff. The breakfast was enjoyable too.

Fabulous historic hotel. Beautiful interiors. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast and dinner in the Brasserie was delicious and great value for money. Dinner in La Storia was superb and Michelin Star worthy. The rooms are impressive and bed very comfortable. The rest of the hotel is also well maintained, beautifully decorated and impressive. We were a group of 23 and the organization and reception was perfect. Thank you to the reservation staff and all the personnel.

We enjoyed our stay but the hotel doesn’t give a wow experience, something you would expect considering the prices and first look at the hotel. It’s the little things: diner in the brasserie with food coming directly out of the fridge, hence too cold, just 2 cups of coffee for the machine in the room, no refill of toilet paper, breakfast not spectacular and at 9 am already run out of cheeses (took them 20 min to refill), and staff hardly speaking English. I know, we are in France, but it would be handy if staff speaks some basic English so it’s easier to have a conversation with your guests from abroad. It’s all a bit distant, not warm and considering. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. You can get better value for money. The hotel itself and rooms are impressive.
