Royal Hideaway Playacar All Inclusive Adults only

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending 11 days at this all-inclusive, adults-only resort as part of a package holiday with British Airways. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable throughout. In particular, our personal concierge, Fernanda Montoya, made every effort to make our holiday truly special. The resort boasts excellent amenities, including several swimming pools, a variety of restaurants and bars, as well as a spa and gym. The entertainment team worked tirelessly to provide a range of daily activities and events. As a gay couple, we had some initial concerns ahead of our first visit to Mexico, particularly about how welcome we would feel in Playa del Carmen. However, we were made to feel completely safe and at ease from the moment we arrived, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy our holiday. We very much look forward to returning to this wonderful resort in the near future.

My husband and I booked this resort for our honeymoon in the spring. I cannot speak more highly about our experience! The staff was beyond kind and helpful. The pool concierge, Exal, went so out of his way to create a good experience for us and our building concierge, Gabriella, helped us with all the details. Everything was clean and well maintained. The food was overall pretty good - some of the restaurants are better than others. The Mediterranean spot was definitely our fav! Highly recommend arranging your dinner reservations sooner than later and pay attention to the times that all the food options close, just in case. The nightly entertainment was fun, the spa was lovely, and the main pool was by far the highlight of our trip. This is a great spot for couples looking for chill luxury in Playa del Carmen! I loved the food at this resort! The waiters are fabulous! Housekeeping is on top of everything! The concierge service is awesome! The front desk was very smooth! If you sign up to become a my barcelo member the recognition you receive here is well worth signing up for.
