My to go hotel in the area especially when I have flight early morning from Modlin airport - by taxi only 5 minutes. Beautiful location, fantastic food - and the breakfast is something else! Highly recommended!
Clean hotel with helpful staff and an excellent breakfast buffet. The standard of finish is high, but this would be a 3-star hotel elsewhere. An odd characteristic of the ventilation means there is a smell of cooking present at almost all times in the lobby and corridors. Our room had a fridge, but not a mini-bar, which would have been helpful, as the hotel bar closes at 22:00. Taking all into consideration, I would recommend it as comfortable and good value
We had a hotel reservation at the nearby Modlin Palace Hotel, but we received a message that the hotel was closed and that our booking would be transferred to the Royal Hotel Modlin. This didn’t bother us, as the new hotel also seemed promising. We had an early flight at 5:45 a.m., so I sent an email inquiring whether it would be possible to get some breakfast to-go, as I had read in reviews that this could be arranged. I received confirmation that it was possible, and upon arriving at the hotel, we confirmed this again in person. Everything seemed settled. However, in the morning, as we were checking out, we were simply told at reception that there were no breakfast boxes left. For paying customers, the response was just: "There aren’t any." Additionally, while our room was otherwise quite comfortable, it had a very strong smell of cigarette smoke, particularly in the bathroom. The smell was so bad that the bathroom door couldn’t be left open, and using the bathroom was unbearable. When we arrived, the window in the room was open—presumably because they were trying to air it out, knowing about the issue. Our expectations were high, but the execution was subpar. The surroundings were the only positive aspect.
