Royal Hotel San Remo

A 5 star experience through and through - all the staff we have met from receptionists, to waiters and lifeguards at the pool - everyone is so helpful and friendly, we feel so welcomed and what a wonderful stay! I would like to thank the lady at reception with dark shoulder length hair who checked us in and out the hotel, she always wears a smile on her face, superbly helpful and she gave us the best first impression of the hotel. Thank you!

It's old school. Very old. Rooms were small but well equipped. No beach access, but they do have a very nice pool. The location isn't good if you want to travel to near attractions. Food was pretty good, and so was the service.

This hotel is being advertised as a ‘5 star’ hotel - perhaps maybe 50 years ago. The entire hotel is so dated and run down. The breakfast buffet was very poor, the restaurant prices and pool bar were absolutely exorbitant. Not that I was considering eating in this old restaurant due to the prices but it is fancy attire (closed shoes & pants) which isn’t ideal in this hot weather. The staff were extremely rude and do not consider walking back from the pool without a tshirt as you will get yelled at. Overall poor experience and terrible value for money
