Though it is comforting and lovely, it didint give us what we expect as a 4 star hotel. The receptionist had poor communication skills and didnt even bother themselves to listen to our problems. I have to say that only one of the workers really helped us among those many others. Dont forget to check your room exactly as they promised. we were expecting a room with 3 beds, but only 2 was supplied and the 3rd one was guest bed (you can see in the pics)!! Breakfast is good, though, it is mostly different types of cheese. Rooms are tidy with nice couches. but cleaning is not happening most often around here! But again, workers (especially receptionists) really do have poor communication skills and behavior and need to work on that! The cleaning crew were just there for fun! Didnt see them working at all. our room were never cleaned during our 3 day stay. It seems like you will never find someone responsible at all in this hotel! They all pass you to each other! Internet Sucks! it really do. you should forget about it at all.
Our stay at Royal Milano Hotel in Van, Turkey was deeply upsetting and uncomfortable. What started as a minor issue with breakfast quickly escalated into something shocking. There was a small misunderstanding over the food, and instead of handling it professionally, the owner himself came down, started yelling aggressively, and—disturbingly—hit his own daughter in front of everyone when she tried to help resolve the situation. It was horrifying to witness. The rooms were unkept and clearly not cleaned properly. You could tell the housekeeping staff were struggling but they were nothing but kind to all of us. It was clear that they’re understaffed and likely underpaid. They were doing their best in an impossible situation. It was obvious that they are being neglected and simply had to keep working for the pay. To make matters worse, my mother felt genuinely unsafe when the owner’s son ran and followed her into the elevator. She was so uncomfortable and terrified she left and took the stairs—only for him to follow her there too. That level of inappropriate behavior is unacceptable in any hotel. The only people who showed us any kindness or professionalism were the reception staff and the house keepers, who clearly have to compensate for everything else falling apart. Unfortunately, even their efforts couldn’t make up for such a disturbing and disappointing experience. Avoid this hotel if you value safety, cleanliness, and basic human decency.
This hotel needs major upgrade in every section. The carpet throughout the hotel is of the poorest quality and is filthy beyond description. The light fixture in the bathroom is very dim and the shower is in a sad shape. The towels were old and coming apart. This hotel has been neglected for years and it's apparent that no reinvestment has been made since the day it opened. The food and service were good and that why this hotel earned two stars 🌟, otherwise it would have been a minus 5 stars.
