Royal Nakhara Hotel and Convention Centre

Rooms were clean and large. No usual amenities provided like toothbrush etc. Bed was reasonably comfortable and parking was plentiful. Absolutely ordinary hotel, but it served its purpose well and I have no complaints.

This hotel has a lot of potential and a long list of issues that I could list. But to be to the point, it’s rather antiquated and in desperate need of updating. Clean up this hotel, and it would be a gem in Nong Khai!

The overall maintenance of the property and, more importantly, the service quality clearly reflect a serious lack of proper management. The staff appeared untrained and unable to deliver service that meets any reasonable standard. Many tables in the breakfast area were left dirty and unattended, even though several staff members were idle. To make matters worse, I even found a strand of hair in the food. For a room rate of 2,000 baht per night, the level of cleanliness and service received was far below expectations. The standards are completely out of line with the pricing. I strongly do not recommend this hotel.
