Royal Pita Maha

We spent our honeymoon at the Royal Pita Maha and were absolutely amazed. This hotel is a one-of-a-kind experience – surrounded by nature and rich in Balinese culture. We stayed in a private villa with our own pool, learned to cook Balinese food, planted rice, did yoga, and much more. The food was incredible, but the absolute highlight was the outstanding service. Every staff member was warm, attentive, and made us feel truly welcome. The spa is also highly recommended. A magical place we’ll never forget!

A Jungle Paradise Beyond Expectations Our stay at The Royal Pita Maha was nothing short of magical. Nestled deep in the jungle, this exceptional hotel offers breathtaking views and a sense of tranquility like no other. The entire setting feels like a serene escape into nature, with the hotel’s architecture fully embracing its natural surroundings. We stayed in a stunning three-level private villa featuring its own pool, a massive bed with jungle views through tall windows, and minimal walls that fill the space with natural light and unspoiled scenery. The bathroom was spacious with both a bathtub and a shower, and the small living area came fully equipped with a fridge and a coffee/tea station. Everything was thoughtfully provided: robes, slippers, toiletries, insect repellent, bottled water, and even a complimentary sarong as a gift. Daily housekeeping was meticulous — our room was refreshed two to three times a day, always while we were out. The food was outstanding. Breakfast was served in a beautiful open-air restaurant with jungle views and included a wide variety of European, Indian, Indonesian, and Balinese options, along with both local and international coffees. The same majestic views were offered at the other on-site dining spots as well. What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff: kind, professional, and always going above and beyond. When we had to leave early due to our flight, they prepared delicious breakfast boxes for us without hesitation. We’re a family with a baby and had an amazing time. They were accommodating in every way. There’s also a complimentary daily yoga session in the morning, which we joined, a perfect way to start the day. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here for at least 5–7 nights to truly experience everything this jungle sanctuary has to offer. Don’t miss the chance to stay in this hidden gem, it’s pure bliss!

Such a gem in the middle of stunning nature. Truly a sanctuary of peace. The villas with private pool have a lot of privacy, the spa is a dream, the views of the Ayung valley unbeatable! The only things are that the lift needs updating and management could remove the advertising around the hotel as it looks a bit tacky.
