Royal Solaris Cancun All Inclusive

If you have small kids this place is perfect for you. My 4 and 6 year olds had a blast. They did not even want to leave the hotel. They have tons of activities for them. A little area just for them with water slides and other things. Service was excellent. Kids loved the other pools also. My only complaint is the food. I’d lower my stars because of how low quality the food was but I’m still giving it 5 stars because of how great they cater to kids. Buffet is very small, no variety, and most food is bland. Pizza was great.

Hotel is nicely maintained throughout the property. Staff are very welcoming. The AC in the elevators and in the lobby can be better, you can feel the humidity as soon as you enter the elevators and throughout the lobby ground floor. The rooms located in the middle between elevators do have thin walls and although the entry door to the room is heavy, it does not block out the sound coming from the hallway. It's recommended to book a room in the corners of the hotels, away from the hallway middle section. Some of the rooms have some wear and tear, make sure you check your mini fridge is working. The hotel does offer several places to eat, from casual dining to upscale elegance. Some places do require reservations and others are only open on certain days. So plan accordingly. The hotel is family friendly and do a great job providing area and activities for kids to do, from a sectioned off water play area, supervised by employees or even providing items to use at the main pool, with activities organized by the staff for kids and everyone. DJ playing music at the main pool. Lots of available beach chairs around the pool. One thing to note: the drinks at the regular bars are on the lighter side and seem watered down. If you prefer top-shelf or stronger cocktails, the members-only bar is where you'll find higher quality options. It's a small detail, but worth knowing ahead of time if great drinks are part of your vacation expectations.

I’ve been to Cancun three times and Royal Solaris is always so much fun! 🎉 The resort has such a lively, friendly vibe and it’s a great place to relax but also enjoy yourself. You do have to grab a bus or uber if you want to head into the main strip for restaurants and clubs, but that’s easy enough and part of the Cancun experience. Overall, it’s an amazing and fun place to stay I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good time in Cancun!
