Royal Tenerife Country Club

Nice quiet resort, perfect for us. Car would be beneficial as not near a beach or many local amenities. Resort staff were lovely but pool bar staff were at best aloof and at worst downright rude, but made up for by the fantastic little family restaurant next to resort. The pool is lovely, quite deep all round which the kids loved. Aeroplanes fly right over the resort regularly, which might bother some, but we didn’t mind too much.

We've been here several times over the last 10 yrs. Last time due to privately owned apartment owner arguing for 48 hrs we requested a move. The staff were amazing and it happened instantly. This time privately owned owners are having renovation and we had 2 days of constant drilling for 6 hrs each day . Requested a move and again staff were amazing. The resort is lovely. Buses run or you can hire a car,unless you like to walk a lot.

The rooms are really good and clean. The hotel is super nice and beautiful. But the hotel lacks of flexibility with customers. Swimming pool closing by 5.45 pm ? Like it's still the afternoon, non sense. The baby pool is super cold but toddlers can not access the heated swimming pool. Unbelievable. Cleaning service is not flexible it's every 3 days at a certain time. (When you are 5, every 3 days is huge...) They put a locker on the swing of the toddlers area at 6 pm.... Location not great far from everything. Check in is at 4 pm but check out at 10. Some lady at the front desk are super nice another one less. Everything is super expensive! 7euros to run a wahing machine for example I will not come back.
