Royale Chulan Damansara

Booked this hotel on very last minute, one day before arrival. The rate was quite reasonable for a 5 star hotel with free breakfast. The room was quite spacious and thankfully bright enough with pool view. The bed also super king size, more spacious liked it very much. Toilet so far quite clean. So far so good. Will definitely choose this hotel again in the future.

I had a pleasant 2-night stay overall. The hotel staff were friendly, and both breakfast and lunch offered a great selection of tasty and varied dishes — definitely a highlight of the stay. A special mention to Mr. Nuh, the engineering technician, who was polite, patient, and genuinely helpful when I had an issue with the in-room hair dryer. His service really made a difference. That said, the room furniture is quite run-down and clearly hasn’t been refurbished in a long time. An upgrade would certainly enhance the overall comfort and appeal of the stay. For RM550 for 2 nights (including 2 breakfasts per day), it’s absolutely a good value for a 4-star hotel. Just hoping the rooms will get an upgrade soon.

We came for a Summit as a group of 20+ the past week. The room is spacious and quite clean, except for signs of water leakage and mould, which most hotels have problems cleaning off for some reason, not that it's a difficult thing to do. The wifi is good and the pool perimeters can be cleaned up (mould again). Breakfast buffet was just OK tho' the spread is good enough. Minori Japanese restaurant was not bad as well Coffee Dream serves good coffee and snacks. It's not far from The Curve, just around the corner, so very suitable for shopping lovers.
