Royalton Hideaway Punta Cana An Autograph Collection All Inclusive Resort & Casino Adults Only

We had a beautiful trip here. Staff was friendly, everything was clean, food was great with many options. The pools and beach were amazing. I was a little confused how and where to sign up for excursions.. so ask an employee where to do so because not all beach walkers will have a safe trip for you. Also, if you want a night life with like a club/dancing, this is not it. This was one thing that I wish we had but otherwise it really is a beautiful resort. We also got the butler as an added service and truly it wasn't needed for us. One more thing, if you get a resort credit, they're just coupons unfortunately and don't let the pushy men get you to be apart of a timeshare!!

We had a great experience for our first time out of the country on our honeymoon. A few cons: -The butler service was cool but only for a one time experience. We didn't get to try many of the restaurants and didn't even know about a couple of them as there was a lack of communication. -The Hideaway area was quite small and the second bar (beach bar) was hidden and we didn't find it till the day before we left. -It was a lot more family friendly than we expected. We thought they were to be more on the Royalton Splash resort. It was really packed with kids during any night events. -We only got turn down service once on our last night even thought it was included for all, along with an issue getting our bottle of liquor till the last day so we had to take that back. -We had a stressful check out, DO NOT let them take your luggage for you unless you absolutely can't take it yourself. Luckily our shuttle didn't leave without us cause our luggage showed up 15 minutes after our shuttle time. Other than that everything else was great! I HIGHLY recommend Hideaway diamond club for that more quiet area but you don't really need the butler portion, so would be nice if they had a different diamond package without the butler. Everything was simple enough to do yourself. We loved the service from the Diamond Club Beach Bar and the hideaway pool bar. Pool side service was really cool. Also I would go down and reserve your pool or beach chairs early. The beach filled up fast and so did the Hideaway pool. The pool side entertainment was fun to watch but again was very family friendly. The beach was always clean with plenty of seating. The resort was very clean all around. We went on one excursion to Saona Island. We booked through the activity desk in the lobby. They gave us a pick up time and that was it. There was a slight issue about getting breakfast cause nothing is open that early so you have to order something the day before and save it. Otherwise it was super cool but was a VERY long day. Bus ride there was about two hours (and back felt like 3) with picking up and dropping off everyone. We got to swim and snorkel in the natural swimming pool and the catamaran ride was the best. The island was cool but its basically the same as the beach at the resort just more blue. I would say its worth it to go at least once. Overall, our experience was amazing and we will for sure be going back, just will do a couple things differently.

I have been to punta Cana 4 times before this trip. First time staying at this resort. Did not give us the room we booked. Could not get room service. Had to go and ask for water 3 times before they brought any to our room. Then only brought 3 bottles. The resort was beautiful but the service did not compare to other resorts we have stayed at. Very disappointed
