Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Charles at the front desk speaks perfect English and was very helpful. He also speaks perfect Spanish as well. He. Made made stay all the more enjoyable. Muito obrigado.
The hotel is really well located and has great staff. The shared amenities are really well maintained and they have storage to put lugagge after you have checked out. The breakfast does not have great selection and unfortunately do not cater very well for vegans or people with gluten intolerance. The rooms are spacious, but the one we stayed in was not very accessible for anyone with wheelchair needs nor with a body a bit outside the "normal". The bathroom had a really small door and was a bit claustrophobic. I would have given it 3.5 stars, but it was either 4 or 3 and unfortunately it is a bit closer to 3.
THEY CHARGED ME AN ILLEGAL FEE AND DIDN'T REFUND ME I stayed at this place and upon check-in I was informed that I had to pay a fee of 10% on the value of my daily stay, I refused because such a charge is prohibited by law LAW OF THE CONSUMER DEFENSE CODE LAW 13.419/2017, PRACTICE ABUSIVE art.39, of the Consumer Protection Code), even informing the attendants was of no use and they intimidated me, telling me that if I didn't accept payment my reservation would be cancelled, I paid and later found out why they demand payment at check-in, because the hotel IS TERRIBLE, OLD, they didn't clean the rooms, we had to keep asking for towels, toilet paper and soap throughout our stay, why didn't they replace it, swimming pool full of mud, horrible breakfast (old and hard bread) staff always in a bad mood, the shower throws water everywhere except on our bodies, old and smelly towels. At my check-out I demanded my money back, they refused, so I demanded the PROCON REGISTRATION BOOK that they are obliged to provide, they refused, but then they came with a black book of theirs for the use of the hotel, I refused and demanded the book, so they agreed to refund the fee and didn't do it. We are waiting until today and it's been a week, I'm going to look for my rights. NOTE: ALINE employee in the reservations sector, uneducated, rude and cheeky. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO END YOUR BUSINESS OR LEISURE TOURISM DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
