Ru Boutique Hotel is absolutely fantastic! We recently had our wedding photo shoot here, and it was truly one of the best locations in Kandy. The scenery is stunning, and the hotel itself provides a beautiful backdrop for photos. Beyond the photo shoot, our stay was also amazing. The rooms were comfortable and stylish, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. The food was incredible – every meal was delicious and beautifully presented. What really stood out was the service. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were attentive, friendly, and professional. We felt truly pampered. One thing to note is that the booking confirmation process was a bit slow. It took nearly four days to receive confirmation after our online payment, which caused some initial concern. However, once that was resolved, everything else was perfect. If you're looking for a beautiful location for wedding photos or a memorable stay in Kandy, I highly recommend Ru Boutique Hotel.

Although it’s a small property, the way they have used every inch of space to create an authentic ancient boutique atmosphere is truly impressive. The furniture, décor, and every little detail gave the place so much character. Our room was superb — from the boutique-style bed to the charming dressing table, everything felt thoughtfully chosen and beautifully maintained. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive. Breakfast was a delightful spread of fresh fruits, bread, juice, and more. My personal highlight was the banana cake — so delicious that when I mentioned it, they kindly packed extra pieces for us to take away. Such thoughtful gestures made our stay even more special. If you’re visiting Kandy, I can recommend Ru Boutique. It’s a hidden gem where comfort, charm, and genuine hospitality come together perfectly.

We chose Ru Boutique Hotel as the location for our wedding photo shoot, and it was a fantastic choice! The hotel offers several scenic spots that are perfect for capturing those special moments—especially near the lake, which creates a peaceful and romantic backdrop. If you're planning to take your wedding photos here, it's a good idea to arrive as early as possible. On our visit, there were at least 10 other couples doing the same, so it can get quite busy. The rooms were comfortable, and we were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful bed decorations prepared for us—it really added to the romantic atmosphere. There's also a small swimming pool to relax in, and the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. They offer a candlelight dinner, which made our stay feel even more special, and the honeymoon package includes complimentary wine and a fruit platter which was a lovely touch. Overall, Ru Boutique Hotel is a charming and romantic place with great photo spots, thoughtful service, and a warm ambiance. Perfect for making lasting wedding memories!
