I led a silent retreat at Ruhondo Beach Resort, & it was the perfect place! The views of the volcanoes are breathtaking—and the overall sights and sounds of nature made it the perfect place to unplug and rest. William and his team went above and beyond to make our stay special. The food was delicious with a great variety on the menu. I can’t wait to return soon!
Stayed in a double room, which was lovely (like in other photos, big bed and bathroom). The bed was very comfortable. Sadly, the first sheets and towels had multiple stains on them (freshly washed, but didn’t look clean). We got new ones upon request. Views are great, rooms have tinted windows so you can enjoy the view in privacy. Restaurant had good food. Staff is friendly and helpful. If you are self-driving, go to the Twin Lakes Boat Pier and ship over to the Resort. It’s much easier and a lovely way to arrive!
Nice place to spend an afternoon enjoying a really nice view. The service was a bit inattentive but otherwise ok. The rooms (it’s been a while since I stayed) were decent and clean as far as I remember.
